Félicitations aux 2 Papas ! - Congratulations to the 2 Dads !

     Le 14 septembre2009, sous ma rubrique "Pensons-y un peu", j'écrivais déjà quelque chose sur ce même sujet.

     Eh bien c'est maintenant chose faite :

    Sir Elton John et son mari David Furnish ont adopté un petit garçon qu'ils ont nommé Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish- John.

     Il est né en Californie le jour de Noël 2010 d'une mère porteuse, dont l'identité est protégée par les nouveaux parents.

     C'est le premier enfant du couple. Sir Elton John, 62 ans, et David Furnish, 48 ans, se sont mariés en 2005 après 12 ans de vie commune.

     Félicitations aux deux heureux Papas !

     Now, it's a done deal :

     Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish adopted a little boy they named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.

     Their son was born in California on Christmas Day 2010 from a surrogate mother whose identity will remain undisclosed.

     It's the first born child of the couple.  Sir Elton John, 62 years old, and David Furnish, 48, were married in 2005 after living together for 12 years.

     Et où était cette immense ouverture d'esprit quand moi j'étais jeune ???

     Comme quoi, tout est question d'argent et de ventes... pourquoi n'a-t-on pas considéré un baiser entre deux hommes intéressant et lucratif dans le temps ?

     Ça aurait tellement simplifié la vie de millions d'entre nous !

     Quand je pense que Radio Canada m'a plusieurs fois reproché l'homosexualité de certains de mes personnages dans les écrits et projets que je leur ai soumis au fil des années.

     Allez comprendre...

     It's proof that everything is a matter of money and selling power nowadays... why haven't they considered a man on man kiss interesting and lucrative in my days ?

     This would have so much simplified the lives of millions of us !

     To think that Radio Canada reproached me numerous times the homosexuality of some of my characters in projects I have presented to them along the years.

     Go figure...

Une hypocrisie réciproque, le Don't ask, don't tell ? a two way hypocrisy

     Étant ancien militaire moi-même, je n'ai qu'une seule réponse aux politiques "don't ask, don't tell" (qu'on peut traduire par "on ne vous le demande pas, vous ne nous le dites pas") de la grande majorité des pays du monde en ce qui concerne l'engagement militaire.

- Pas de question, pas de dévoilement ?  eh bien, pas d'engagement ! -

     On verra comment les armées du monde entier se débrouilleront sans les milliers d'homosexuels (hommes et femmes) qui y servent déjà.

     Au même titre que toutes les grandes religions refusent encore et toujours d'accepter que leurs dévots soient gay... à moins qu'ils se taisent et fassent semblant du contraire...  je ne peux m'empêcher de me demander comment il se fait que tant d'hommes et de femmes gay souhaitent encore se marier religieusement ?
     Ne le faites tout simplement pas !
     Mariez-vous sous union civile (où c'est permis et autorisé) et où ça ne l'est pas, prenez entente notariée ou légale (avec avocat) sous forme d'un contrat entre deux adultes consentants... invitez vos plus proches amis dans un beau restaurant... échangez vos voeux et vos alliances...

     Aucune cause ne vaut qu'on se mente à soi-même.  Et il n'est pas de pays au monde qui mérite qu'on meurt pour lui quand il n'est même pas capable de nous accepter tel que nous sommes !

     Pourquoi nous, les humains, sommes-nous si stupides parfois ?

- Mais... je ne peux pas lui tirer dessus, il est bien trop beau ! "

     Being a former military myself, I have but one answer to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy of most countries as far as military enrollment goes...

- Don't ask, don't tell ?  well... just don't enlist ! -

     We'll just see how most armed forces do without the thousands of gays already voluntarily serving !

     As well as all main stream religions don't want to hear from gay people... unless they shut up and don't assume their sexual orientation... I can't help but wonder why so many gays want to religiously get married ? 
     Just don't !
     Simply marry under civil union (where it is allowed) and where it is not, just have a contract... between two consenting adults... in front of the law... with a lawyer... or a notary (where they are available)... then you invite your closest friends in a fancy restaurant... and you exchange vows and rings...

     No cause is worth lying to yourself for.  As no country is worth dying for if it's not even able to accept you just as you are !

     Why oh why are we humans so stupid sometimes ?
