Nul ne peut arrêter le progrès de la science et de l'humanité.
On vient de déclarer avoir "enfin" trouvé de quoi était mort si jeune le célèbre Pharaon Égyptien Toutankhamon il y a de cela plus de 3000 ans... plus "précisément" en 1327 Avant JC.
Ça me fait tout bonnement penser qu'il y a encore des gens sur terre, en 2010, qui meurent tous les jours simplement parce qu'ils n'ont toujours pas accès à de l'eau potable.
Je n'ai rien contre la culture ni l'exploration spatiale ni les recherches médicales ni même la création et l'invention de nouveaux médicaments aux coûts exorbitants quand ils atteignent le grand public... mais je crois qu'il est plus que grand temps que l'humanité fasse un pas en arrière, change sa perspective et réajuste ses priorités.
Et alors la ville de Québec (appuyée par le gouvernement provincial) veut proposer sa candidature pour obtenir les Jeux Olympiques "dans les années 2020", je connais encore des gens qui ne mangent pas à leur faim... des enfants qui vont à l'école sans petit-déjeuner... et bien qu'on semble dire le contraire, il y a des sans-abri aussi à Québec !
Comme il y en a présentement à Vancouver...

They just declared to having "finally" found the cause of death for Toutankhamon, Egyptian Pharaoh who passed away at the age of 19 some 3000 years ago... more "precisely" in 1327 BC.
This quite simply reminds me that there still are too many people on earth, in 2010, who die every single day just by lack of access to clean drinking water.
I have absolutely nothing against general culture, spatial exploration, medical researches that can lead to producing excellent medecines and drugs even though way too expensive when they reach the marketplace...still I think it is more then time for Humanity to stop, take a step back, change its perspective and reajust its priorities.
And as the city of Québec (supported by the provincial government) plans on applying to host the winter olympics "somewhere in the 2020s", I still know of people who don't have enough to eat... children who still go to school in the morning without any breakfast... and even though it's the silliest open secret of all, Yes, there are homeless people in the beautiful city of Québec !
Just as there are right now in Vancouver !
